In my 10 gal. i have my group of guppies...i think that 3-4 of them are pregnant, but i cant tell! their gravid spot is really dakr, but they really aren't that big around. Also, whats the full length of an adult guppy? one of my girls, Big Bertha, seems to be about 1 inch or 1 1/2 onch total...shes huge compared to everyone else! i just need some good advise to go by, and if anyone has a side picture of a pregnant female and a non pregnant female they could show me i would appreciate it...THANKS!!! *GOLDFISH*

I think the biggest guppy I've ever seen was about 2 inches. People told me that boxy thing...but honestly my large female always looks boxy to me, lol I agree though, do some searching through the posts on this site because a lot of people have had the same questions you have.

yea..."Bertha" is close to 2 inches and actually I watched her give birth to 11 fry (that i caught...dont know if she had more and they got eaten). I looked her last night and there was a little tail hanging there. lol. It was awesome. They really always look boxy to me also. Im feeding the youngin's baby brine shrimp. is that right? they seem to really enjoy it.
