Ugh... I hate those things.

The 500 is a 6 gallon tank, that's like 4.5" wide. Basically, not enough surface area to sustain fish.

I would be a lil leery about it myself since it's filters and all are built in and u have no idea how good they are and I"m guessing water changes and light replacement might be a bit of a pain. then again it might be a cool lil tank for maybe a few neons but I agree with lotus with the small swim space.

It may be OK for plants only but I wouldn't subject fish to it. Basically I disagree with the whole concept of it. If you want a picture on the wall get a picture, if you want to keep fish get a proper tank.
