OMG My Magnum 350 is dead Help Me

I have a 55 cichild tank with a Magnum 350 deluxe canister filter and well the machine is having problems every time it goes onit makes the clicking noise and doesnt stop. For 2 nights so far it has been doing this. Very Early this morning about 3 am I tryed to troubleshoot but it diodnt work. The pump isnt pumping enough water through the machine. Like the water isnt filling all the way up in the canister. I dunno what to do It has never given me problems. Should I sell it on ebay and get a different canister or should I see what yall have to say Cause Im frustrated!!!!!

Have you cleaned out the impeller lately? The clicking is coming from an imbalance in the impeller, most likely from gunk or snails in there. It's possible the impeller is damaged or warped, so check that, too.

hmm how long you had it ? maybe its on its way out of something is blocking it.. give it a reeealllllly good scrub and clean.. and see what happends then

I brought it back to petsmart and got my money back so any other filters that are better for that price range?

108.45 im gunna get a rena and 2 powerheads for my nano tank Petsmart allows competion prices from petsmart.com

yeah it was probably a problem with the impeller like lotus said...I work at petsmart and I always have people bringing in filters that have stopped working--its usually due to poor impeller maintenance

you would not believe what I find stuck in the impellers: dead fish, masses of human/pet hair, and God knows what else

its always good to have a backup impeller because they tend to demagnetize over time
