On the search for a skimmer...

Hey guys i've been looking and looking and just can't seem to find the right skimmer.
I've looked at and really liked the ASM mini G. I was looking at the via aqua 200 but will be a very tight fit to get the cup off. Here is what my area for a skimmer.
16" wide, 7" deep, 18" to the top of the stand. So can't be any taller then like 17.5" with taking the cup off...
my budget is $150

considering the size allowed and the price, i don't think another one can beat it

Never really saw the ASM working but they have good review, due to their euroreef cloning style..i've seen the Remora works very well and its compact design is great.

I agree I use both the hob regular remora on my 29g and the insump pro on my 75g. I have yet to find one that is as easy to adjust and run consistently......

well try the ASM, i checked again and it looks neat..needle wheel for a small skimmer is cool. It's like a mini coralife with possibly a better design.

I 'm thinking i will, i found some sweet mods that are super easy.

I found mesh on eBay for 2 bucks and i got a few air pumps around here.

Oh... Well i guess i'm going to order the ASM MINI G tomorrow. Only needs 3/4" to remove the cup which will work for me.
