Once had two, now have one

I have male and female long-fin rosy barbs in my tank. Tonight when I came home I looked in my tank to see if any of my expecting platties had any surprizes for me and saw Glits, my male barb, swimming around the tank as usual, but when he turned I found that Glitz's right eye is gone, my male is now a cyclops. I'm thinking my paradise fish got really cranky, which is strange because I haven't had trouble with them before. Anyway I need to know if I should do anything for him. Glitz doesn't look to be in any discomfort, he's swimming around the tank like usual. I am planning to clean my tank tomorrow and do about a 50% water change, but if the is anything else I should do for him please let me know. I will try to upload pics soon.

my fish lost an eye once. it was fine. you should probably add aquarium salt and raise the temp to about 81 or 82 to help the eye heal and reduce the chance of infection. otherwise it should be fine.

Thanks for the quick reply. I actually have salt in my aquarium already and the temp is at 80f. Here's a pic, sorry it's blurry, he's a very lively fish.

As long as it doesn't get infected, most fish do fine with only one eye (just like humans). Watch his socket for signs of redness, sliminess or any kind of white patches, just in case it gets infected.

i had a bubble eyed goldfish and his bubble even grew back, so it should live normally.
