ooops!! I did it again... (with pics now)

so i walk by the betta shelf at walmart and there's 1 sad betta sitting in a cup... I take a closer look and he's BEAUTIFUL!!! so $30 later, i've got a 2.5 gallon mini-bow and a new betta LOL...oh now what flat spot can i take over with this one.

he's pinkish, with irridescent blue at the base of his tail and flashes on his body...SO PRETTY, the pics just don't do him justice...neither did the lighting at walmart...part of the reason why he was the last one on the shelf. poor guy!!

Looks nice, just make sure to watch the ammonia levels, as the tank will be cycling.

ya, i did filter squeezings, put some gravel n' water from my 29 in there and added Cycle...ammonia spiked overnight and dropped to zero by noon today...the nitrite is spiking now, the "cycle" will be over by tomorrow PM...all my small tanks have gone like that. i've got a "method" now hehe
