Lol I know I should post this in the betta forum...but it's no where near as traffic-busy as the cichlid one

Took a trip last weekend up island to visit my parents...while we were there, we took a side trip into a nearby city. I made them stop in to Petland, as usual. God, the prices that place charges are absolutely atroscious, but they do have some of the nicer fish and tanks for a chain store. While there I came across a tank FULL of female bettas, as they hadn't even started selling them yet (they were marked as "not for sale until Feb. 24" or whatever. There were some stunning little girls in there, so I asked the guy to sell them to be anyway, cause I was from Nanaimo and wasn't coming back. Anyway, I grabbed two of them (and yes, they were hella expensive!), but now that they're in and settle, oh my god were they worth the price! I haven't gotten pics of the second yet - who I actually suspect may be a male - but this little one is the most stunning betta I've ever personally laid eyes on. Pics don't do her colour and markings justice. And actually, I'm not entirely sure she's a female either...she's extremely aggressive. But....*drool*
Her colour is close to that, but more shiny metallic, darker teal, almost deep blue at some angles, and her white markings are really white and stand out a lot.
