Optimal Tank Setup

I am looking forward to setting up a small Cichlid tank anywhere from 8-15 gal is this to small?

I was thing about putting in keyhole cichlids or other smaller cichlids.

Any suggestions on tank size or fish?

Depends what kind of cichlids you want to keep. In a 10 - 15 gallon tank you could easily do some dwarf cichlids like a pair or rams or small apistos.

Oh and theres the small shellies too. Especially if you have really hard water.

I'd suggest going as large as you can.

Bigger is better. It gives you more options.

I have about the same issue, i have a leftover 10gal, after converting my 75 from oscar to med cichlids, I havent started reading up on thesmaller cichlids yet but if i get somthing ill post it up for you too...

you dont have too many options with a tank that small...even a 20gal tank is better
