Hi all, I've been watching my male and female zebra cichlids mate for the past 20 minutes or so. Very exciting sence this is my first, but trying not to get to excited sence I know the first doesn't always work out. I know for a fact that they are breeding, she lays the egg he fertilizes it and she skoops the egg up in her mouth. Her mouth already looks full.
Now my question is how long will she hold? I have a 10 gallon already cycled just for this purpose & for quarinteen. After how many days should I take her out?
