oscar acting dead

hey... my oscar has been lying on the bottom of the tank on its side... not moving at all for the last few months... he wil only come up wen i feed him.. is this normal.. or is sumthing wrong with him(or her)

Hopw big is hte tank? Water params...anythign new....has he been moved?

um... 32 american gallon.. but he is only 5"... hasnt been moved... PH level is 7... all seems in order??

Has he been moved lately. They oftne sulk when they are moved.


This is 1/2 the size of the reccomended tnka size for an oscar ya know.......


Did he ever act normal?

Usually, suhc sulkign is a sign of unhappiness(say, his best friend died, or maybe a move form oen tnka ot the other)


I'd just wathc him for boredoem , be sure he's eatign etc.

And if you havnet already, a bal or somethign else would make somethign for hte oscar ot do when its bored.
