OSCAR PROBLEM!!!!!!!!

I need help with my oscar IMMEDIATELY.He is very ill.He has white spots on lips,stars in circle shapes on head, and thick, spider web looking fungus stripes on fins.His friend, a texas cichlid died 2 days ago from this.I dont want this to happen to my oscar, because I have had him for 2 years.I dont want polly the parrot fish to get this, either.What desease do you think this is?What medications should I use?What did I do wrong?I nEeD yOuR hElP iMmEdIaTeLy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sounds like a bacterial fungus to me...heres what you should do...you need to get some parasite/fungus medication. usually fungus meds treat other things like parasites too so just check on medications to see if they help get rid of fungus. im not sure of the big brands of meds for that kinda thing cuz i use stuff that most people dont hear of...locally made stuff i guess.

Sounds like a fungal disease symptom. Any labelled anti-fungal med would do good. Just make a 40% water change b4 medication and aerate ur tank heavily coz meds hv the tendency to suck-in oxygen.

He died 3 days ago.........I miss him, I had him for 2 years.He knew some tricks (pet him, hit ping-pong ball,and hand feed.)I woke up, and he was upside-down nex to his favorite fake log...........I buried him in the back yard.That was sad.

Sorry for your loss. Next time i'd advise against overstocking a tank to that extent. Overstocking could lead to stress which could possibly lead to disease. Sorry it couldn't have been cured and the O still be swimming in your tank.
