IT depends on where you live really. If its a tropical climate all year round, then yes. But only one

I wouldn't think an oscar pond would be very much fun. Goldfish/koi/shubunkins are usually added to ponds because they look good when looking down at them. An oscar from the top will look pretty dull if you can even spot him at all.

yes red, black, yellow, and blue rocks. its pretty much 70 to 80 degrees all year around it gets in the 60s to 75 during the winter barely any cold days.

ONE Oscar per 55g. Which means ONE oscar in a 65G.

Where in Tx? Even in Tx. City (southern tx) they have had more freezing weather there this year than I have had in the North East. Anywhere in TX. is too cold for an Oscar to be outside. What are your lows at night? One little cool snap is enough to kill your oscar since they need a more tropical kind of temp.

Yes...they will eat crays when they are big enough

what if it was a inch long cray with a 3 inch oscar? Thats the size they sell oscars at petsmart here.

So you're planning on getting an oscar in May because it will be warmer then? Then where's it gonna go once the cooler weather hits again?!

im going to save money for a big tank (around 75 gallons).

Buy the tank, then the fish. Life happens, and you may not be able to afford it when you really need it.

i know but it will another few months till i do buy one im saving up im making a business selling young crays.
