I wouldn't think an oscar pond would be very much fun. Goldfish/koi/shubunkins are usually added to ponds because they look good when looking down at them. An oscar from the top will look pretty dull if you can even spot him at all.

ONE Oscar per 55g. Which means ONE oscar in a 65G.

Where in Tx? Even in Tx. City (southern tx) they have had more freezing weather there this year than I have had in the North East. Anywhere in TX. is too cold for an Oscar to be outside. What are your lows at night? One little cool snap is enough to kill your oscar since they need a more tropical kind of temp.

The oscar would still eat the cray.
So you're planning on getting an oscar in May because it will be warmer then? Then where's it gonna go once the cooler weather hits again?! :confused:
