So my oscar is starting to get pretty big hes probably 3.5 inches now and i am still feeding him "cichlid Staple - floating mini pellets" i feed him about 18 of these little things about once a day. Do i need to switch my food to something bigger or feed him more now, he was about maybe an inch when i got him.

I fed my oscar the mini-pellets up until it was taking a ton to have him satisfied. Then I got the medium pellet size, which he still eats. He's probably about 10 inches long and can eat much bigger than the medium size, but I've got to use them up.

yea go up to the medium...mine eat the large now

Oscars can eat pellets larger than they look like they can. Medium should be fine. You can also supplement his diet with some frozen foods (blood worms, variety packs, etc.) as a little "treat" and for some variety.
