Oscar Tank

Im thinking of starting an Oscar tank and was wondering if one oscar (or 2) would fit in a 20 gallon tank? If so, does anyone know a website that sells 20 gallon tank kits at a reasonable price (not over 130-200$)?

I wouldn't put an oscar in any tank smaller than a 55 gallon, personally. Others may have other opinions about a minimum size. 20 gallons is definately too small.

Have you considered checking Craig's List? For that amount of money I will bet you could find a lot more than a 20 g tank. I bought a complete 30g set up with a nice furniture stand for $100. It was very nice so I didn't even try to deal.

You can buy 20 gallon kits at Walmart for really cheap.

I would not house an Oscar in anything smaller then a 75G IMO. They get around 12 inches easy.

i had an tiger oscar in my first tank and he out grew it in around seven months i would save for a bigger tank, walmart sells 55 gallon kits.

It depends on the Walmart, actually. A lot of stores don't carry them anymore.
