I feel like algae eaters like plecos and otos poop a lot because of their diet.

must be something cause they have only been in my tank for a few days and noticed their poop is everywhere.

that is a good sign that they are healthy and well fed. if you do not see them pooping then you have a problem

i think all my fish poo A LOT. but they are fed a very healthy diet. lol

This is completely normal. A sign of a well-fed oto is one that poops constantly. Good luck with your fish!

thanks im starting to think my lps sold me what they think a oto is cause today i went in to see if they had anymore otos in stock she happened to point to one that was a chinese alge eater then it occured to me it might not be a oto afterall.cause it looked almost the same.i tried to take a pic but none of them turned out.
