4 days ago i bought 3 oto's for my 50 gallons

when i put them into my tank after acclimating, they were all immediately munching on my algae

today i was looking at my oto's, and noticed two were nice and big and fat and pooping like crazy, while the 3rd one was just hanging out on the substrate, it had rapid gill movements and what it looked like a small part of the skin behind his head was like dried or something, and then i saw it start to suck on the glass, when i noticed that its stomach was painfully red looking

i currently have 5 neon tetras in there, and just the 3 otos, planted tank

can anyone give me insight on what it can be??

i would provide water parameters but my test kit has not come in yet alskjdflaf

okay..now the redness in the stomach is gone but it looks like its like a healed wound or something i duno but its just white...i think it may have burned itself on the heater or something

but..the weird thing is the oto's gill when viewed from the underside is like white...its kind of scary seeing as the gills are usually pink...its still breathing rapidly and stuff

actually now im confused i have no idea what the gills are supposed to look like!! pink..white...or more pinkish reddish..all 3 of my oto's have different colored gills when viewed from their belly

sounds like any disease/bacteria or anything?? or maybe, well besides the once wounded oto, just normal variations among the fish
