Most tropical tanks should be kept at 78* to 84* depending on the type of fish. bump it up to 78*(slowly) and see if they improve.

Edit: can a mod delete my post some how it looks like I posted first IDK what is going on

Hello, maybe you guys can help me with my oto problem. My oto used to be active, always eating algea. Now, he never moves really, and isnt eating at all. Its the brown algea, which he usually is eager to eat, so i know its not algea he wont eat. So, any idea whats wrong with him? Also, his buddy is doing the exact same thing? Water Parameters are fine, so im stumped.

OK, i raised my temp 2* yesterday, and 2* today so its at 78*. So far no improvement, although the bigger one moves a little across the bottom of the tank now. If i raise it to 80*, will they start to go on the walls again and eat the algea? If temperature isnt the problem, then what it is?
