Ooh! One of my otos has finally figured out that the zucchini rounds I've been putting in for the last 2 weeks are edible!

I'd like to thank the Malaysian Trumpet Snails for setting a good example by eating the previous zucchs and making this moment possible! *celebrate

Ha! Too true, ryanoh. Interestingly, they don't seem too interested in algae wafers. Maybe it's just that everyone else is VERY interested and they don't want to get in the competition. I have a veritable bait ball form every time I toss one in.

My poor Oto died. I found him hanging upside down on my heater after school on Friday. Idk what happened, electrocuted maybe?? Still, he liked the algae wafers, but my Silver Wag decided to play the game, let's keep the algae wafer away from the Oto. She would pick it up, swim around the tank with it, settle down and eat it a little, and then do it again. I don't know what in the world is wrong with her.

Aak, I break them into little pieces to spread around too, but the otos still don't seem to get any.

Kiara, sorry about your oto. ): They are known for being a bit delicate to get settled in, so it could have been all sorts of things.

My otos liked cucumber too!
Kiara, too bad about the otos. You have to et at least 2 of very healthy stock for them to survive, I find they do best with buddies.
And my dog loves interfereing with my typing -.-
