Otos have arms!

So I was looking around my tank today and I noticed one of my otos using his pectoral fins to hold onto a side edge of the hagen CO2 bubble counter. It's like he was saying, "look dad, no suckermouth!" Too bad he didn't stay long enuff for me to get a picture. Never seen a fish do that, closest thing to it is the walking on his fins that my gf's GAE does. Funny fish, always good times.*laughingc

hehehe my largest albino cory (Fatty ) does the pectoral fin walk sometimes too. i remember the first time he did it, i dropped a shrimp pellet near him(about an inch and a half away from his head) and instead of swimming he just shuffles over sideways on his pec fins and starts eating the pellet. thats why hes Fatty hehehe

Yeah, my Oto uses his fins to crawl up my Val leaves.

Once in awhile he'll prop himself up like a little rocket on the rocks, start moving his tail really fast and then he'll lift off to go school with the Danios.

When I first got my Zebras he was trying to keep up with them, it was too cute!

Pectoral fins are very useful for all fish
