I purchased what i belive to be an otto from the local pet superstore today and as the assistance seemed a little confused as to what it was i had to trust my own judgement. The trouble is i've only seen a few pictures and i find it hard to tell the difference between the otto and the siamese algea eater.
The one i have has a darkish strip along his side, a dark sort of greeny head, and vertical stipes on his tail.
There was a similar looking fish at the shop but it was mostly dark greeny brown. Did i pick the right fish (otto)?
I dont want to bother it now but i can try and get a photo tomorrow.
