Does anybody know if ottocats or any other algae eater can clean algae off of sand? I have some green and some BGA in my newley set up 10 and I wouldn't mind getting rid of it. Its not too important as I will be planting a full bed of glosso (I think. If not something else low and creeping) which will block light to the sand anyway. But until that happens, a little algae busting would be nice. If it gets on the plants I'll definately be busting out the ottos but so far it is just on the sand. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated, thanks.
