My wife just got the decor the way she wanted it. She has more of an eye for design than I do. I just threw a bunch of rocks in my tank. Hope to add discus soon.

Cool setup. I like the little pathway :). That'll look cool once you have the discus in it. You may consider adding something with a little height if possible. Or maybe something floating down.

It looks nice and clean, but there are no hiding places in it and no height to the decor. But remember - that is just my visual critic. I guess I just like more "clutter", something a little more lived in.

My Redtail and the bottom feeders move all my blue marbles around in the tank. I have a rock mountain with a waterfall looking design on it and made it look like water with the blue marbles but the guys in the tank had other ideas about where the marbles should be.
Looks nice,

Thanks guys. She is planning on adding some tall plants in a little bit. Currently researching what and how. Wants to make sure everything works. Going for a japanese garden look. Its in the bedroom so she wants it to be zenish. Hopefully the cory cats and green pleco won't do too much rearranging.

She just added some dwarf hair grass today...

You'll never believe this, but she did it with chop sticks. Fitting for a japanese garden, isn't it? The roots are merely buried in the sand with coarse pepple underneath. They seem to be holding for now.
