As some of you may have been following my previous threads about an adult Oscar that I rescued I thought I would give a little update. The adult felame oscar never recovered from her moves from tank to tank... I treated for everything I could think of. From parasites to funguses I couldnt see. She just never came back around. She died last Wednesday afternoon.
On Thursday, I picked up a small (3 inches) but attitude laden red Oscar. He has settled into his new home very well Even ate for me the first night... Never sulked! And talk about a piggy! The "medium" pellets are a little big for him so I bought some "mini" pellets He eats about 10 of them per sitting. He even tolerates my live plants and enjoys 'peaking' out from under and behind them... No digging yet...
