outlet cloudy

I have a 120gal tank with a sump.I n the sump I have the protein skimmer and the pumps to take the water out and back into the tank.My problem is on the outlet tubes in the tank it is pushing out alot of I think its bubbles and it makes the water seem cloudy.What would cause this and how can I fix it
