Overflow ?

What do you think of them? Does your tank have one/them? Do you wish you had them or didn't have them? Is there a particular set-up that they are best for?

most tanks that I know of that have overflows are used in a saltwater setup...might read there as most of the salties dont read the mainstream threads.

Overflows are used with a sump that sits under the tank. The water overflows from the main tank into the overflows, and then down to the sump where the water is filtered and then pumped back into the main tank.
