Is there any way to measure oxgyen in your tank?

Sure is! RedSea company makes a O2 test kit for $15. I don't know how accurate it is, I've never used it. I don't even know what the reagents are that they would use.

I prefer electric DO meters myself, but they cost a lot and it is a real pain in the butt to change the membranes on the sensors. The O-ring always snaps away from me, it's a really tiny thing. If you get a bubble underneat the membrane you can screw a whole day's worth of data. Digital read outs are best.

Thats the problem Ruby! I cant tell if my plants are pearling. Maybe Im not looking for the right thing.

Hello all.. I am new here :)

If you look under the leaves of your plants and notice large and smaller bubbles attached to them then your plants are pearling!

To get your plants to pearl #1 you need strong light #2 you need good nutrients in your water and #3 CO2~~~!

Well, why test for oxygen? To see at what level the oxygen is at. Because of C02 injection, I have near to no surface movement. I can get the level of C02 but I wonder at what level the oxgyen is at. Just curious is all. The fish are fine.
