I was wondering if anyone has any expierence with Paradise fish.  I have done a little research on them and they sound a lot like bettas.
Does anyone know how they would get along with other fish, especially African Darf Frogs, Corys, or Bettas?

Paradise fish are very much like bettas in a gourami body. They have to be one of the nastiest species of fish I have ever met. I usually recommend that people not put them in a community tank unless they are going to be the only fish in that tank.  Some people have had sucess with putting Paradise fish with other fish, some people have not, so it all really depends upon the size of your tank and the amount of plants and decor you provide as hiding spaces.

The Paradise fish might fight a Betta to the finish. They can be very aggressive, with the males more colorful, and a little worse for attacking other fish than the female. Two male Paradise fish will try to kill each other like a Betta. As long as you give them room they don`t seem too bad, but the one I have now killed one particular Tiger Barb. Now that the Barb is gone it just threatens the others a little and never attacks. It seems to pick and choose which fish it dosen`t like.
