Penguin 330 for a 10g

Would it be an overkill to use Penguin 330 on a 10g? I'm thinking to buy one since it's on sale for ~$21. But I dont want to use two filter cartridges for a 10g so probably I'll just put only one. Should I go with Penguin 300 or 170 since the price difference is only about $5?

P330 on a 10g? I'm not even sure a 330 will fit on a 10g. The intake tube will be too long. You would need to rig something up so that the intake would fit in the tank.

330 gph is a lot of current. What kind of fish do you have in there? I think that even danios would get annoyed with that much current. A P120 would be perfect for a 10g.

Still, $21 is a good price for a P330. I would use that as an excuse for a bigger tank.
