Penguin Bio-wheel 200 power Filter

hey, okay currently i have a penguin bio-wheel 200 power filter, and there is a middle intake with a valve, i have it all the way open, so it lets in the most water, but i was wondering if they could recommend how much i should have this valve open, or if this is a good amount?

I would just leave it open all the way all the time. Really I think those are more of a gimic than anything, but if you have delicate fish that have trouble finding food then you could turn it down some during feeding then turn it back up later.

Mbuna aren't going to have any trouble eating, so your fine leaving it wide open.
