What can you tell me about these? I want a bottomfeeder but since all my fish are top feeders and very greedy I was worried they wouldn't get much food down the bottom, but i have heard these are both top and bottom feeders? How many should I get? I looked at the profile, it says they get a max of 2.5 inches? What is the average length? Etc, etc, any info would be great please!

Are you talking about peppered cory cats? They eat from the bottom, unless you don't have anything that gets down there and then they'll learn to come to the top (or at least, most cories will learn, I don't know specifically about peppered cories). They really aren't top feeders though, they're scavengers from the bottom. You can get sinking shrimp pellets or sinking wafers to feed them, though. In a 35g I'd get at least 4-5 of them.

Yep peppered cory cats. We have decided that if we do get some, especially since there is a discount for 3 i think, to get three? Would that be okay?

I looked into some of those sinking algae wafers are they good?

Has anyone else got more information?

They are just about the same as any cory cat. Very active and fun to watch.

Edit: Yeah sinking algae wafers are good. I usually throw a few of them once in a while.

the peppered corys may get to big so try panda corys or any other corys that stays under 2"
and the sinking wafers will normally be eaten even by the other fish in there if the corys dont get it fast enough so make sure to drop it by them.

and they like to be in groups, but if you decide to go with the peppered corys dont push more than 3
