I am going to the LFS this week or next and see about getting a few. Will these mess with my polyps and zoas? Figured I would find out before I get a few, lol.

Didn't bother mine. Got 4 or 5 to help with an aptasia issue i had. solved the problem in 2 or 3 weeks with no 'adverse' side effects. in addition to eating all the aptasia they could find, they are fun to have around as well as looking pretty.

never had a problem with mine either. Just make sure that the shrimp you buy are genuine peppermint shrimp. Look up pictures and compare them with camel back shrimp so you know the difference. Some retailers try and pass off camel back shrimp as peppermint shrimp and camel backs do not eat aiptasia.

ahh yes they do tend to steal food....but then if you feed one side of your tank.....and keep them busy there then they are less likely to both the corals feeding in other areas......at least that is my experience. Distractions
