At the moment i have 2 Percula Clowns

in the morning (when the tanks lights are out) the two clowns look as though they are dead, they lie on the bottom of the tank half buried in the substrate...

then when the lights come on after a period of 5-10 minutes they are active and well! is this normal behaviour for the clowns?..

i often get quite worried that they are actually dead! is it right to assume they are asleep!?..

i also have a Blue Chromis and in the morning he is hidden inside a rock! he also comes out when the lights come on!?...

Are they scared of the dark!?... :p

People go with the impression fish do not sleep. They actually do! If you keep the lights on 24-7 your fish are going to get stressed out. What you are experiencing is quite normal... and no they arent scared of the dark.
