Normal tap water here is about 7.9
Last week I measured it after a water change and it was 8.2
this week I measured it after my weekly 25 % Water Change and it was 9.2

I just have a few plants and lots of filtration.
You can see my tank size and stocking in my signature

Help would be greatly Appreciated.

Thanks

Yeah if you have lets say crushed coral for your substrate it will for sure be the cause because it will buffer the ph and make it higher.

Also what type of decoy do you have in the tank?

lava rocks.
Thats why!

Cichlids like high ph so in my old cichlid tank i used crushed coral as substrate and i used lava rock with holes i made in it for the fish to swim through.

Most rocks such as granit, limestone, lava rock, will raise the ph but it ussaly depends on how much you have in the tank and what size your tank is.

You could try to remove the lava rock and see if after a few water changes the ph goes down.
