Over the course of this week I have pretty much let my diy co2 exahust itself. Last sunday I checked my ph, it was 6.2, where it has been ever since I added the co2. I checked this morning, and the damn ph is at 7.6! No new fish have been added this week, only some taken away.
Question is should i try and bring the ph down some with chemicals or something before I add a new batch of co2? I know when I add the new batch of co2 that my ph will drop back down to normal, but I dont want to stress and kill the fish in the proccess.
I do my water changes today, I think I will wait till I do my water change, and then add the co2.
Any ideas, thoughts, comments ( other than Im a DA for letting it drop ) ?
