I found that it says it holds 200 grams but i was wondering the volume it can hold?

If it's really 17" ( inside area ) by 4" diameter= radius 2

Hmmm that would 3.4 liters
it says to only use 5" worth of materail which is .4 liters but if you do the math it's 1.6 liters, wonder if the tube takes up that much room.

I'm thinking about packing on of these full of neditrate from seachem. i have a closed loop system under my 125 gal. turtle tank and i was thinking of taping this into it with a ball valve so that i could run it around 50gph
