Phytoplankton shelf life

My DT's phyto passed its "best used by" on the 15. I still have a little less than half too.

How long do you use phyto after the shelf life date?

I'm not 100% sure, but I would imagine they put the date on there for a reason. I now on some food products the best before date is more of a shelf life when unopened, but once opened you can only keep it for like 4 weeks. Do you really want to take a chance with your water quality for the sake of a few bucks...I wouldn't!
