paid a lot but i wanted it white tentacles and vivid green disk...75$ CDN ( well..now it's pretty much 75$ USD )
I usually pay around 45-50 for this size but at another store.

I really want a plate. It's going to be one of my first corals when I can rebuild. The remind me of an anemone a little bit.

I was in Canada a month or so ago and the exchange was par.

wow thats a lot of tentacles for a plate coral. i always see them as well plates...

i would see why it reminds people of a anemone.

mhhh..they had Giesemann basic 150w 20k at the LFS ..here it's Giesemann nova 2 150w but 10k and the coral already is getting darker like clear coffee...after 2 days

my coral beauty ate eat...went out 3 days...came back..the coral beauty was feasting on it...2 late. Never tried the other LPS tough..but i'm screwed both ways. Fish vs corals.

omg.....sooooo sorry to hear that....it was a great looking animal. I have a pygmy angel that I thought was nipping on my fungia plate so I moved the plate into my main tank......it seems somewhat happier in there though the polyps aren't what they were.

yeah it's more nipping than eating..the angel was grabbing chunks and spitting it...hey at least if he was eating it would have been useful !
I wanna keep the coral beauty...the fish isn't eating mush and zoanthids...well no more LPS for me..at least he didn't destroyed my 3 remaining LPS.

I have a peppermint shrimp that likes to rip LPS apart. Luckily he hasn't killed any yet.

If your peppermint gets too excited, he could become a sump scavenger
