Just to give my fish something different to eat, and give my corys, shrimp and more sedate eaters a chance to have at something nice. Pretty much didn't work out as I expected.

Dropped 4-5 of them into my 55 and basically started a feeding frenzy. Fish taking jabs at one another that normally leave each other alone. Even my siamese algae eaters were chasing each other (and others) away from the small pellets. Platys, molly and bettas plowing into each other.. Even my big female pearl gourami was laying sideways to shove herself into a rock cave to get at one pellet that got pushed in.

Corys in my 20L enjoyed them, but they're super shy (only have 4 of them). My red cherry and ghost shrimp could care less.

Pretty entertaining either way.

I've got some dried shrimp I drop in my 55 every so often. They're too big for some of them to eat, yet each betta will swim around in the tank holding one in their mouths like a dog holding a stick until they soften enough to gulp. 'course they avoid each other so no one can snag it from them.
