lol...i know im a picture whore 
if you want to post them so they appear in the message you need to host them on your own webpage and then link using this format:
if you want to upload them to mft as an attachment when you go to the "post reply" or "new topic" feature scroll down towards the bottom and there is a button which says "manage attachments". click on that and it will let you find the image on your computer...only thing to realize is that they must be 50kb or smaller i believe

Well in photoshop u can use the image options, then resize. Change the dpi to 72 ( web standard ). If you don't have this there's always Paint in every windows. Just found an online resizer...looks easy :
