this is my mantis... sorry about the louzy picks. it one of those cheap cameras that come with a scaner for free

Ya the pics are a bit hard to see. So how is the mantis?

he is cool... the acasional peek out and watch me watch him. my mom thought he was goin to break out of the tank because she heard the clicking and said it was very loud! his name is now master blaster from thunder ball. " He has the mind of a child!" do you know of any good cameras for 100-200 dollars?

yea, whats with the duct tape? that kind of thing makes me really nervous. jerry rigged lighting has tendencies to start fires. The cannon Powershot A510 is a great little camera, right around 200$

what should i use instead of the duct tape then? i can screw any thing in. a type of string?

blasphemy! duct tape is the handyman's secret weapon...

you should be able to find some sort of plastic clip specifically for holding pc lights

ive left the light on for 2 days straight in the beggining when i put the light in and no fires. but it is a valid point.

is there no screw fitting on the fixture where you can drill a hole through the hood and put a little nut on it?

a reflector would be good too...im secondarily concerned (beyond fire) that you are going to melt the plastic hood

i do have relectors btu they might not fit in the hood.

cut them then...thats the beauty of reflectors...you could use tin snips or wire cutters

ok the reflector thing is figured out what about attaching the lighting now? there is no hole to put a screw through
