pictures from the birch aquarium

hey all you saltwater folks.

on thursday night, i bought a new digital camera. on friday, we went to the birch aquarium in la jolla. between enjoying the fish, keeping and eye on my 19m/o son and trying to learn to shoot a bright object in the dark, i didn't have a chance to note what fish were what.

if anyone wants to check out the pics, i think i have a few good ones. i'd appreciate it if you could post here what's what if you can identify any of them. for fish i don't know, i put a number as the description. currently, i've got 5 pictures i can't positively identify. and, the others are loosely identified. any help would be appreciated.

if you liked the birch aquarium, you should check out the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach--they have a sweet reef section...definetly beautiful

true that dbacksrat...you talking about the one there with fake mango trees and such?

my only complaint about the AoP in the LBC is the price...tis a bit spendy at $20 a head...but the shark petting zoo makes it all worth the cizash

I like the Monterey Aquarium a lot, and the Aquarium of the Bay too. Also the Shedd is a nice one with its Wild Reef exhibit.
