Yup - been there, had that.
The descriptions given on the krib is what got me wondering in the first place. One of my tanks is starting to show some algae growth. I believe it's just the typical, run of the mill type greenish/brownish algae.
I have been wiping it away when doing the regular water changes - but noticing I am wiping it out more often.
I can't figure out what is growing in there, need pics to be sure... ???
I believe I know why this is happening, but by all means - correct me if I'm wrong (like you guys need to be told that...
I have started growing plants, and am now keeping the light on between 10 - 12 hours a day. Also, with the change of seasons, this tank now gets some indirect sunlight.
There has been no change in fish-load.
I was advised to pick up a phosphate test kit - it's on order from bigals. So - what do you think?
