I have three goldfish and I had a small tank. The water kept getting disgusting pink and cloudy within days. I moved them to a 10 gallon tank with a bigger filter and it is happening again. The rocks are blue and the other items in there are not pink. I'm feeding them the goldfish flakes but I wouldn't expect that to the water that quickly. Help! I'm sick of cleaning out the tank every few days but I'm also afraid if I don't, they will die.

One goldfish needs 20 gallons, and each additional goldfish needs 10 more gallons. You would need 40 gallons for 3. Goldfish are very messy fish, in terms of waste production. In a 10 gallon tank, you would likely need to do 80% daily water changes to keep the waste levels down.
