Pipe Organ

I've had this pipe organ coral now for a few months and it has easily quadrupled it's size. All of a sudden yesterday it organ closed up. Anyone know if this is normal behavior every so often? All other coral seem to be just fine. I think a frag might have fallen and brushed against it, but that's about all I can think of. The coral frag was a piece of monti cap.

They will close up when irritated, especially if they fall, get hit or get sand on them. They'll also close up if flow is too high, or at least mine does.

Did You Saw Any Skin Sheeded By The Coral During Its Growth
If You Did
Then Its Just A Cycle Of The Growth

Just because a coral closes doesn't mean its deased sunny.. It's probably just closed up b/c it got hit Joe.. Did it open up today?

No, it hasn't opened up yet, but I do see a few tips attempting to poke through. It must of been because of being bumped... Hopefully so as it's quite a nice looking coral.

Well, I woke up this AM and it was opened again...

Jim, the stuff I got is good. The ric did split.
