does anyone leave their tank in the dark? like without moonlights and or small LEDs?

well to day at night i noticed that with out the moonlight the tank is pretty much pitch black. but i felt bad for my clowns and turn on the moonlight but that seem to just wake them up a bit. so a few good dark days arent so bad?

i actually noticed them sleeping a little. like they werent doing any swimming. just laying down. (to be honest it makes me nervous cuz whenever i see a fish not move...X.X)

thats cool thanks.
its just that i would be freaked out when i cant see anything.
since i dont have coral yet im have a few nights a week thats totally dark.

it seems to be that one of my clowns enjoys sleeping under the moon light.
