Plant Care Fizz Tabs (Jungle)

I bought a 8 pcs. pack of plant care fizz tabs from jungle labs inc. Have you guys ever used these before? How were the results? I got them becuase they were pretty cheap, $2.99.

I have never used those, but from what I can see from the product description, they provide a source of CO2 and "essential trace elements." They probably won't hurt, but I wouldn't look for them to be some kind of magic bullet all-in one solution, either.

In the long run, you would be much better off mixing your own ferts using dry chemicals such as available from GregWatson.com.

They provide a source of carbon (CO2 gives us carbonic acid which also creates a source of carbon) ...

None of the aquarium fertilizers I have provide any kind of carbon source ...

If you want to pursue a source of Carbon Dioxide (CO2), most of us pursue either a DIY Yeast Bottle method or pressurized CO@ ... for small tanks, a DIY CO2 source is definately feasible ...
