Depends on the plants. If all you have are low light plants then not really, unless you have a mad amount of them. most low light plants are slow growers and adding "Chemicals" fertilizers 
will only add nutrients that your plants are not using and you will in fact be risking algae taking over.
But if you have fast growing plants like hornwort or other higher light fast growers then yes you do need some fertilizers.
