Planting for Gouramis

im goner get a some gourmis soon and i just wanna know sumthing

I have got loads of plants but there not all together in one place.

Will this be alright for gouramis?

The plants i have are...

-4 Jungle Val
- cant find name of other ones sorry, but the other ones have medium sized leaves, and the other ones have loads of thin leaves, some have curled up some r straight!!

No problem

In my experience with Gouramis, the rule of thumb is one plant cluster per Gourami. Although they are very peaceful, they are very territorial. If you do not have enough plants like I do, they will seek "shelter" under heaters or mini-caves.

Gouramis dont eat plants. I have never heard of it anyways. Infact, they appreciate their presence and if they become fond of one particular plants will defend it against other gouramis.

Here's a question that goes along with this topic, do Gourami's *need* surface cover (like duckweed) and also, is it a good thing to keep along with them?
