Plants for Johnny

I have a betta, johnny who's about a year and a half and he loves the two live bamboo plants i put in his bowl. Anyway.... my older brother won another betta at some contest and i wanted to give it a nice bowl but i didnt want bamboo. one time, in an office, i saw a betta in a circular bowl with some nice plant floating on top.

Anyone know what this plant may be? Where to get it?

Lots of plans float ... maybe hornwort. That always seems like a popular one.

Pistia Stratiotes is a nice floating plant although I've never seen it in any LFS's around my area.Duckweed is easy to get hold of though and spreads like wildfire.
