okay i dunno if im answering my own question, but i no cichlids need vegies, but i also no they need some protien too, anyways i kept them on spectrum diet and i jus threw some anacrius plants in there to liven my tank up...so now i notcie they are taking a liking to the plants and nip at the leaves...thats okay right?

Forgive me, what cichlids did you get again?
Most cichlids eat plants (ie:algae) because they actualy pick at the tiny crustations that live in the bio-cover.
But to direct to your question, I don't see any harm in it, however depending on the species it may indicate something missing from there diet. Do you feed different foods, or the same stuff all the time?

With the exception of the malawi cichlid, the rest are primarily carnivores.
I never see my Tanganyikans nibble at the plants in with them, but the ones I have are much more hardy than anachris.
All fish need a well balanced diet, so if they are not getting enough of something, they try to compensate with what they have in the tank with them. If there diet is good, then I wouldn't worry about it.

kool awesome, and another thing one of my calvus' thats always bullied sits by the filter now, and i noticed he has this like pimple looking spot on his side...now i have a feeling its a fungus and now the chances of my other fish getting them should be slim jus cuz they are growing, eating and are very active

If he is getting bullied then he is most likley stressed out, and ick can set in once a fish is stressed enough.
White pimple looking spots sound more like ick, where fungus is normaly seen as patchy. And just because the other fish appear healthy, does not meen that they can't get what ever this one has, although a healthy fish is more likley to make a quick full recovery compared to a sick,weak or stressed fish.
